Sweet (& Clean!) Treats Cooking Demo

February 23rd from 7:15-8:15 at The Dailey Method Towson – Barre + Cycle Studio

To celebrate February being Love Your Heart (and Chocolate!) Month and loving ourselves (as much as chocolate!), join us for a fun sweet treat soiree demo to learn how to make some of your favorite sweet treats in a healthier way. We’ll be making chocolate avocado mousse with berries, sweet and salty super food chocolate bark, and no-bake chocolate walnut brownies. All treats are “clean” eats and free from gluten, dairy, soy, corn and refined sugar.

Cost: $10 for TDM monthly members; $15 for nonmembers. Price includes the demo, samples, recipes and a glass of wine.

VITA Baltimore / Charm City Run Cooking Class 

November 9th from 6:30-7:30 at VITA Baltimore located in Belvedere Square

Join us at VITA for a cooking class, where I will be whipping up my Chipotle-Style Burrito Bowl with Cashew Cream and tasty No-bake Brownie Bites.

Healing Foods: A 2-Part Cooking Demo Series

October 6th and 13th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Institute for Integrative Health

For centuries, food has been used to prevent illness, relieve symptoms, and even cure disease.

In this two-part course with certified culinary nutrition expert Rachel Druckenmiller, MS, you’ll explore the power of food and discover how it can be used to prevent and alleviate inflammation, strengthen your immune system, and enhance your vitality. Through recipe demonstrations as well as nutrition and cooking tips, Rachel will show you how to eat for optimal well-being.

Plus, University of Maryland nutrition researcher Chris D’Adamo, PhD, will be on hand to offer commentary and answer your questions.
